Consulting and contracting

Introduction

Compusis provides consulting and contract services in simulation modelling and analysis.
Our principal field of expertise lies in solid mechanics applications, covering statics, dynamics, heat transfer and optimisation applications, using linear and non-linear solution methods.
Our in-house commercially licenced analysis software includes the finite element program ANSYS and the mathematical modelling program Mathcad, supported by bespoke program development.

Areas of expertise include:

l Finite element modelling, simulation and analysis (ANSYS and Mathcad)

l Steady-state, dynamics and heat transfer applications

l Linear and nonlinear solutions

l Design optimisation

l Model verification, validation and quality management

l Scientific software development (C# and Fortran)

Compusis retains perpetual commercial ANSYS multi-physics licences (v5), suitable for simulation and verification analysis.

Mathematical modelling and analysis

Our mathematical modelling and analysis expertise lies in the application of the mathematics program Mathcad to the development of mathematical models of engineering problems.

Compusis retains perpetual commercial Mathcad (v14) licences.

Scientific software development

Our programming expertise lies primarily in the application of the C# (OOP) and Fortran to the development of scientific software, including GUI, database and website features.

Compusis is the developer of CompuPADL an ANSYS Parametric Design Language (APDL) Script Editor (written in C#).
